Football and Cheer Season 2024
The 2023 season is quickly approaching! Be sure to register early. Early registration begins on April 1st! Cheer and Football Registration ends May 31, 2024. We encourage you to bring a friend to our program. Our best recruiters are our players and parents. Registration only takes 5 minutes and will reserve your spot for the 2024 season.
Registration Instructions for Football and Cheer
All athletes will need to create an account prior to completing their first registration within the system. Click on the Register button on the top right-hand corner of this website to start your registration. First time registrants will need to upload a copy of their birth certificate. New users will need to create an account before they can register a child.
You will need to select a team that for your child based on their Fall 2024 grade. See the table below. Only registrations that correctly correspond with the athlete's Fall 2024 grade will be honored. The Kelseyville Chiefs reserve the right to move players based on Board approval, so this may not be the team that your child plays on. Considerations for roster/team assignments include and are not limited to: player weight (football only), previous experience, player maturity, and player and team competitiveness. We will advise you of changes.
Please note: Your athlete’s ONLINE registration is not submitted until you receive a registration receipt via email. Creating an account or simply logging onto the registration system does not register your athlete. If you intend to register your child to cheer or play this year, you must proceed through all screens.
Divisions and Weight Limits
Weight limits pertain only to football. There is no weight limit for cheer.
Division | Age | Grade | Max Weight (lbs.) |
Peewee | 7 -10 | 2, 3, 4 | 95 |
Junior Varsity X-Men | ≤12
| 5, 6 | 125 130 |
Varsity X-Men | ≤14 | 7, 8 | 160 165 |
If your athlete is not eligible due to weight, please contact Football Director, Grace Martinez, at [email protected] to discuss options for your child. We will not turn away any athlete due to weight (although it may affect their eligibility to participate in a game). Register your child for their grade division even if they exceed the weight limit. We encourage all children to join the team and learn fundamental football skills, practice an active lifestyle, and make a smooth transition into (unrestricted weight) high school football.
Required Paperwork
Per law, we are required to have you and your athlete complete several health and registration forms. We will forward any forms we need from you and your athlete after you complete the online registration. All paperwork is due by July 1. If any paperwork is missing as of July 1, you will jeopardize your registration/roster spot. The medical exam form must be signed and dated in 2024 with no reference to any prior year.
Payments
At the time of registration, our system gives the option to pay the program fee in full or in installments as described in the payment plan. The work bond program fee is due in full at the time of registration. All payments must be made by credit card or debit card. Upon completion of your volunteer hours, your work bond program fee will be refunded at the end of the season.
